Hello, I’m Stacey- mother, grower, quiet rebel, and the woman behind Wild But Rooted.
For over a decade, I ran my own floristry business. It was a beautiful, creative, and often intense chapter of my life- long days spent arranging flowers for people’s most meaningful moments.
Somewhere along the way, I felt the pull to go deeper. I began growing my own foliage and a few flowers, just to see how it felt.
That simple act of putting hands in soil again changed everything. I realised I didn’t just want to arrange nature- I wanted to grow it, protect it, and share it at its source.
Over time, I’ve built a life around growing and sharing what I love- plants with purpose, rooted in history, and grown gently in rhythm with the earth.
My Values
Simplicity: I grow and sell only what I can do well, and I let the seasons guide me.
Care: Every plant, every parcel, every label is made with real hands and real love.
Integrity: I don’t chase trends. I grow what feels right- plants that support ecosystems, traditions, and slow living.
Creativity: I love experimenting- painting pots, designing plant kits, and crafting new ways to connect with the land.
Honesty: I’m not here to pretend it’s all easy. Some days are muddy, hard, and messy. But it’s always real.
What I Grow
I work from our home garden and five acres of ancient woodland, where I cultivate native wildflowers, herbs, trees, and traditional craft plants.
Some are grown for their beauty. Some for their usefulness. Some for their ability to ground, soothe, or inspire.
Everything is peat-free, pesticide-free, and grown with care.
My focus is on plants that belong- plants that restore, support biodiversity, and tell stories worth remembering.
How I Work
I run Wild But Rooted slowly and seasonally. It keeps things human. Rooted. Sustainable- not just for the planet, but for me and my family.
We pack everything ourselves. I design care cards, write the labels, photograph the plants, and build the collections. My husband helps with logistics and infrastructure. My daughter creates beautiful botanical textiles inspired by the plants we grow.
This is more than a business- it’s a way of living, one that values connection over scale, soul over speed.
Why Plants? Why Now?
Because I believe that growing something- even in a small pot on a windowsill- is an act of healing.
In a world that often feels loud and disconnected, plants invite us to come home to ourselves. To slow down. To witness change, season by season. To care.
Wild But Rooted is my way of sharing that invitation with you.
My Hope for You
Whether you’re here for a single plant, a bundle of native herbs, or a seasonal wild garden kit- I hope you feel the care behind it.
I hope it helps you root deeper into your own space, whether that’s a windowsill, a back garden, or something more internal.
And I hope it reminds you- gently- that small, slow things still matter.
