We are creating a native food forest within our woodland- this is a long-term project, and we’re just at the beginning. You’re welcome to follow the journey by subscribing below.
Our land is classified as ancient woodland, which comes with strict legal and environmental protections. We fully respect these rules. We use traditional coppicing methods to encourage healthy regrowth and biodiversity, working with the natural cycles of the woodland. All plants we offer are sustainably propagated from our own cultivated stock, not removed from the woodland itself.
Protecting and restoring this ecosystem is at the heart of everything we do. The first step will be to restore the hazel trees to a point where they are producing nuts again.
