β€οΈ Why you'll love it
A small deciduous tree valued for its striking early-spring display of deep pink to magenta flowers, which appear in clusters along bare branches before the leaves emerge. It's hardy in most UK gardens (down to approx. -15Β°C) and typically grows to 5-8m tall, forming a graceful, spreading shape. Heart-shaped green leaves follow the flowers, turning golden yellow in autumn. Cercis canadensis thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers well-drained soil. This tree is especially attractive to pollinators and provides year-round interest, from vibrant spring blooms to autumn colour.
