FERNS (Dryopteris filix-mas): Elegant, shade-loving perennials prized for their finely divided fronds and woodland character. Ferns thrive in damp or partially shaded areas, bringing a lush, ancient feel to gardens, borders and containers. Low-maintenance and reliably hardy. LADY'S MANTLE (Alchemilla Mollis): A soft, mounding perennial loved for its velvety scalloped leaves that catch dew like tiny jewels. In early summer it produces airy clouds of lime-green flowers adored by pollinators. Tough, easy to grow and tolerant of many conditions, Alchemilla is perfect for cottage gardens, pathways and softening borders. HONEYSUCKLE (Lonicera japonica): A beautifully scented climbing perennial producing tubular flowers rich in nectar for bees and moths. Honeysuckle quickly covers fences, arches and trellises, creating a romantic cottage-garden feel while also supporting wildlife with its berries later in the season. Hardy, vigorous and wonderfully fragrant on warm evenings. LEMON BALM (Melissa officinalis): A refreshing perennial herb with bright green leaves carrying a gentle lemon scent when brushed or crushed. Traditionally grown in monastery and cottage gardens, Lemon Balm is loved for herbal teas, pollinators and calming sensory gardens. Easy to grow and fast spreading. FOX AND CUBS (Pilosella aurantiaca): A cheerful spreading perennial wildflower with vivid orange-red daisy-like blooms that brighten borders, rockeries and wildlife gardens. Extremely hardy and easy to grow, Fox and Cubs tolerates poor soils and dry conditions while flowering generously through summer. Excellent for attracting pollinators and adding bursts of fiery colour. SEDGE (Carex pendula): A graceful grass-like perennial valued for its flowing texture and year-round structure. Sedges thrive in a wide range of conditions from damp woodland edges to dry ornamental borders depending on variety.
