Britain's only native maple, a tough and adaptable small tree with lobed leaves that turn a glorious gold in autumn. Equally happy as a hedgerow tree or clipped into formal hedging.

How to look after Field Maple (Acer campestre)
Position & Light: Full sun to partial shade.
Soil & Watering: Tolerates a wide range of soils, including chalk and clay. Water well while establishing.
Feeding: Not usually necessary once established.
Pruning: Trim as hedging in summer. As a specimen tree, minimal pruning is needed beyond removing damaged wood in winter.
Supplied bare root, carefully packed with a moisture source to ensure freshness.
Plant height: approximately 40cm.
Please remember that most plants (except Evergreens) are dormant in Autumn/Winter so your order may have no leaves until Spring.

Upon arrival, plant immediately in a cool, shaded spot (indoors or outdoors) and water thoroughly.
Once new growth appears, move to the final growing location.
